With demand and adoption for cloud solutions continuing to grow in the Asia-Pacific region, Ingram Micro is proud to announce the availability of its Cloud Marketplace in Singapore. This is the third country in the Asia Pacific region to welcome the automated platform, and fourteenth country worldwide.
Research firm IDC reports that demand for cloud services in Singapore is growing rapidly. Public cloud services are currently valued in 2015 at $323 million dollars and expected to grow to $535 million dollars by 2018, with a compound annual growth rate of 18.3%. The expansion of the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace offers Singapore channel partners the opportunity to take advantage of this growth by offering instant, online access to a wide array of innovative cloud solutions from a single online portal. Additionally, channel partners can also use the automated Cloud Marketplace to seamlessly and efficiently manage the complete end-customer cloud subscription lifecycle.
The launch of the Cloud Marketplace in Singapore initially features Microsoft Office 365 through the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program and a suite of migration tools and customer support services. Channel partners can also increase their profitability by bundling their own cloud services and consolidating invoicing. Additionally, channel partners can seamlessly convert Microsoft Office 365 Advisor subscriptions to the CSP program through Ingram Micro’s Microsoft Advisor to CSP service plan. Delivered on the Cloud Marketplace, the new service plan is designed to accelerate the transition and adoption of CSP while enabling channel partners to retain their status as a trusted advisor to their customers.
“Ingram Micro’s expansion in Singapore reinforces our position as the region’s leading master cloud service provider to meet the growing demand for cloud solutions and services,” said Francis Choo, VP and Country Chief Executive ASEAN and HK, Ingram Micro. “We’re excited to bring the Cloud Marketplace to this growing area and help our channel partners simplify success in the cloud.”
